The Italian design company Kartell is known for fun pieces, made out of plastic in unexpected shapes and forms. Due to the hard-wearing material the high-end designs are around for long time and many have achieved cult status. One of them is this magazine rack. The four pocketed version was created in the 70s in black plastic and was the brainchild of Giotto Stoppino to cleverly make a design statement out of the ever-piling amount of (fashion)magazines.
