WALTER KNOLL
Walter Knoll is a German furniture producer, which was founded about a 150 years ago. The Wassily lounge chair itself is a design almost 100 years old and was created by Marcel Breuer, an architect and designer known for modern steel furniture. The construction underlying every chair is revealed and turned into one of the most significant parts of the design of the chair.
KARTELL
The Italian design company Kartell is known for fun pieces, made out of plastic in unexpected shapes and forms. Due to the hard-wearing material the high-end designs are around for long time and many have achieved cult status. One of them is this magazine rack. The four pocketed version was created in the 70s in black plastic and was the brainchild of Giotto Stoppino to cleverly make a design statement out of the ever-piling amount of (fashion)magazines.
ARZBERG
Arzberg mini coffee can of the brands 2000 series is one of the most classic designs. Made out of paper thin porcelain the dainty can is perfect for the two cups of coffee in the morning or afternoon that are drunk out of enjoyment, not necessity.
MUSHROOM LAMP
In the 70s mushroom lamps used to be a go to design element. Today they are again highly sought after, especially in a Murano glass style.
